Rapid Prototyping

At the heart of DMW Engineering is Rapid Prototyping. It’s what made us create the company to begin with. We struggled with too many ideas and no cost-effective way to turn these ideas into physical goods to test, iterate and hone our concepts.
Our specialty is taking concept to creation, regardless of the starting point; whether that be back-of-the-envelope drawings or full CAD model.  

Why it matters

Prototyping is usually the bottleneck in the process of creating physical goods. Few companies and individuals have the equipment necessary for high caliber fabrication. Even fewer companies have the ability to produce small batches of goods without massive purchase order commitments.
By offering these capabilities, DMW keeps ideas alive and cash in the bank.

Modeling

Have a great idea or sketch but don’t know how to turn that sketch into a professional 3D model? DMW can create professional computer models and lifelike renderings, useful for product presentations to buyers and investors.

Fabrication

Once ideas begin to take shape, inventors’ needs change from creating one unit to handfuls. DMW has abilities to fabricate using multiple materials including plastics, aluminum, carbon fiber, and more.

Using advanced prototyping tools like FDM and Resin 3D Printers, Laser cutters/engravers, CNC mills, Pick & Place PCB Fabrication, and more, we can produce small batches of products within a few days. No longer must you wait several weeks for test samples or beta products. 

Design

DMW’s engineering team provides electrical and mechanical expertise to design projects. Most inventors and entrepreneurs are not experts in the field they are dabbling in, so it can be extremely time and cost effective to utilize domain expertise early in the process.

Launch
